BALF Membership Helps Land Jobs |

The Bay Area Legal Forum (BALF) holds four educational workshops each year. As a working member of the Forum, you are entitled to attend any of our workshops at no cost. Given the current economic times where many employers are cutting staff education expenses, being a Forum member is a way to keep up on your continuing education even if your employer cannot pay for it.
In addition, by attending legal educational workshops, you show your employer (or future employers) that being a legal secretary or paralegal is not just your job, it is your career and you take it seriously. Keeping yourself well educated is also an asset to your employer. A well-educated secretary or paralegal is less likely to make costly mistakes!
